Hello and welcome to Colour-Pencils, a group for colored pencil artists and enthusiasts! To be a member you need only like to work with colored pencils, but for submitting works we have some guidelines we'd like you to know about. Please read these carefully before submitting, and if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask! (Notes preferably, but comments are fine too!) Also, you can find more information on our rules for joining and Contributors here -->

Colour-Pencils Submission Guidelines:
Quality Baseline:</i> We try to keep the gallery at a professional or near-professional level. Please only send us your best work to be displayed. If you have doubts about the quality of your work, compare it to our gallery and see how it holds up. If you feel it is as good as or better than, please send it to us! If not, look at how you can improve your work.
Scan Quality:</i> please make sure your scan is clean, evenly lit (no shadows from paper wrinkles) and cropped down to frame so that you can't see the edge of the paper or the binding rings, if the paper is in a binder. Even the best drawing can be ruined by a poor scan!
NOTE--> If your submission was declined purely because of a bad scan (and this can happen!) we will let you know, and you will have an opportunity to re-submit it if you can provide us with a clean scan.

All submissions are accepted or declined based on a group decision: just because you are a member—or even a Contributor—does not mean your work will automatically be accepted.
Please don't be offended or discouraged if your submission is declined—keep working and try again.</i> We do not hold grudges against any artist (as long as they are not rude or immature!)
Submission limit: 1 submissions per week.</i>
NOTE--> Unless you were specifically told that your submission was declined due to a bad scan, or because you exceeded your submission limit, please do not re-submit a deviation that as already been declined!

Too many groups? Sometimes we get submissions of a drawing that is in many, many groups! Though this will not make us automatically decline it, it can be a deterrent. So if your drawing is already accepted in over 5 to 7 groups, maybe you could send us one that has less exposure? Share the love!
FINALLY: Please keep in mind this is a group for Coloured Pencils! We will accept watercolor pencil works and mixed media works (as long as the dominant tool is colored pencils), but we prefer to feature pure colored pencil pictures. If you have any doubts about whether your deviation counts as "colored pencil" feel free to note us with a link first (you can also look through our gallery to get an idea of what we accept).
THANK YOU! We look forward to seeing your art!
